When You Arrive
You’ll be greeted by someone who’s ready to help, not rush you through. There’s no juggling clipboards or signing forms you don’t understand. We’ll take care of the check-in process and walk you through anything you need.
If you arrive early, help yourself to a drink at our beverage bar. Settle in, take a breath, and know you’re in good hands.

Let’s Talk
We’ll start your visit with a conversation, not a procedure. We’ll ask about your dental history, any concerns you’ve had, and what you’re hoping to improve or maintain. If there’s something that’s been bothering you, whether it’s discomfort, anxiety, or a negative past patient experience, we’re here to listen.
This part matters. Because when we understand your story, we can care for you better.

A Thoughtful, Complete Exam
Once you’re settled, we’ll begin your new patient exam. This includes:
- A gentle cleaning
- A full oral health check
- Digital X-rays
- An oral cancer screening
We use modern tools to make this process more comfortable and more precise. And we’ll talk you through each step as we go, so nothing feels unexpected.

Clear Next Steps
After your exam, Dr. Cao will sit down with you to explain what he sees and what it means. No jargon. No pressure. Just a clear explanation and honest guidance on what comes next—if anything does.
You’ll have a chance to ask questions, explore options, and move forward at your own pace.

What to Bring to Your First Visit
A photo ID
We use this to confirm your identity and set up your patient file.
Your dental insurance card (if you have one)
This helps us verify your coverage and explain your benefits before any treatment begins.
A list of medications you’re currently taking
Some medications can affect dental care, so having this info helps us plan safely and effectively.
Any recent dental records or X-rays (optional)
If you’ve been to another dentist recently and have access to your records, feel free to bring them. But if not, that’s completely fine—we’ll take any images we need here.
