We Treat You Like a Person, Not a Number
Your well-being always comes first. Whether you’re in pain or anxious, we take the time to listen and explain. You’ll never feel rushed or left in the dark.

We’re Prepared For Anything
From knocked-out teeth to unexpected infections, we have the technology, training, and experience to treat a wide range of dental emergencies in-house, often in a single visit.
Common Dental Emergencies We Treat
Dental problems don’t always wait for a convenient time. If you’re in pain or something feels off, we’re here to help. Some issues need immediate attention to relieve discomfort or prevent complications. Here’s what we commonly see and treat:
Severe or lingering tooth pain
A persistent toothache could signal infection, decay, or nerve irritation. We’ll find the cause and provide fast relief, often during the same visit.
Cracked, broken, or chipped teeth
Even small fractures can lead to bigger problems. We can smooth sharp edges, restore the tooth’s shape, or protect it with a crown.
Knocked-out teeth
Time matters. If we can treat you within an hour, we may be able to save the tooth. Call us immediately, and we’ll walk you through what to do.
Dental abscess or facial swelling
Infections around the root of a tooth or gum line can become serious if left untreated. We’ll drain the infection, relieve pressure, and recommend next steps.
Lost fillings or crowns
Without that protection, your tooth is vulnerable. We’ll restore it quickly to prevent further damage or discomfort.
Bleeding after dental work or injury
Ongoing bleeding could be a sign of an underlying issue or injury. We’ll examine the area and stop the bleeding safely and effectively.
What to Do If You’re Having a Dental Emergency
Call our office right away
We’ll ask a few quick questions to understand the situation and let you know how soon we can see you—often the same day.
Keep the area clean
Rinse gently with warm water to remove debris and reduce the risk of infection. Avoid brushing the affected area too hard.
Apply a cold compress
Use a cold pack on your cheek to reduce swelling and ease pain. Apply it for 10–15 minutes at a time.
Save any broken pieces or knocked-out teeth
If a tooth comes out, don’t scrub it. Hold it by the crown (not the root) and keep it moist, preferably in milk or inside your cheek. Bring it with you to the appointment.
Take over-the-counter pain relief if needed
Pain relievers can help, but avoid placing aspirin directly on the gums, as it can cause irritation or damage.
What to Expect at Your Visit
Quick Assessment
You’ll be seen promptly. We’ll listen to your symptoms, assess the issue, and make sure you’re as comfortable as possible before moving forward.
Digital Imaging
Using low-radiation digital X-rays and 3D scans, we’ll get a complete picture of what’s happening. This helps us diagnose accurately and avoid surprises during treatment.
Treatment Options
Once we’ve reviewed your images, we’ll explain what’s going on in straightforward terms and walk you through your treatment choices. We’ll answer your questions and discuss costs, timing, and what to expect.
Same-Day Relief—with No Temporary Crowns
If your emergency involves a broken or damaged tooth, we may be able to restore it in a single visit using our in-house CEREC® Primemill and Primescan technology. That means no temporary crowns, no second appointments, and a strong, custom-fit restoration made while you wait.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you help with severe tooth pain?
Absolutely. We’ll find the cause of your pain—whether it’s an infection, deep cavity, or cracked tooth—and treat it right away. Our goal is to get you out of pain quickly and comfortably, with a clear plan for next steps.
What if I have a dental emergency during non-business hours?
If you have an urgent issue outside regular hours, call us—we offer extended and weekend hours by request. We’ll get you the care you need as quickly as possible.
Will I need follow-up care after an emergency visit?
In some cases, yes. We’ll explain everything before you leave and let you know if you’ll need a follow-up to complete treatment or monitor healing. You won’t be left wondering what happens next.
How can I prevent dental emergencies?
Many emergencies can be avoided with regular checkups, good brushing and flossing habits, and common-sense precautions. Wear a mouthguard during sports, avoid chewing hard objects like ice or pens, and don’t ignore small dental issues—they often grow into bigger ones.
What payment options do you accept for emergency care?
We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and CareCredit financing. We also work with most major insurance providers and will help you understand what’s covered before treatment begins.
Do you offer sedation for emergency procedures?
We use local anesthesia to keep you comfortable during urgent procedures. If you’re anxious or nervous about treatment, let us know—we’re here to help you feel at ease.
What qualifies as a dental emergency?
A dental emergency is anything that causes severe pain, bleeding, swelling, or visible trauma to your teeth or gums. Common examples include a knocked-out tooth, a broken or cracked tooth, a painful abscess, or bleeding that doesn’t stop. If you’re unsure, call us—we’ll help you decide what to do next.
What should I do if my tooth gets knocked out?
Act fast. Try to gently place the tooth back into the socket without touching the root. If that’s not possible, keep the tooth moist by storing it in milk or between your cheek and gums. Contact us immediately—your best chance of saving the tooth is within the first hour.
How quickly can I be seen for a dental emergency?
We do everything we can to see emergency patients the same day. We offer extended hours and weekend availability by request, so you’re not stuck waiting in pain. Just call—we’ll guide you through your next steps right away.
Do you accept emergency patients without insurance?
Yes. You don’t need insurance to be seen for an emergency. We welcome all patients and offer a reduced-rate emergency exam. We also provide flexible payment options so you can focus on feeling better, not finances.
