My journey into dentistry began with a passion for science and a desire to make a difference in people’s lives. I earned my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University before continuing my education at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
From the start of my career, I was drawn to general dentistry because of the variety of care it allows me to provide. Over the years, I’ve developed expertise in a range of treatments, including braces, wisdom tooth extractions, crowns and bridges, deep cleanings, and root canals.
Working with patients from lower- to middle-income backgrounds has given me a deeper understanding of the challenges they face in accessing quality dental care. Many of my patients have never had a good experience at the dentist, and I take that to heart. I believe the first step in great dentistry isn’t the procedure—it’s listening to the patient.
I make it a priority to slow down, explain treatments in simple terms, and ensure my patients feel heard. Every visit should be a conversation, not just an appointment.

Many of my patients have had bad dental experiences in the past. Whether it’s fear, trauma, or discomfort that’s kept them away, I take a compassionate approach to their care. I walk my patients through every step of their treatment and offer local anesthetic when necessary to ensure they feel at ease.
